We are a missional community on a journey together. From the early days as a mission church in 1930, SMC has been primed with a sense of being a part of God's mission.
Today, we continue to look for ways to be God's people in this time and place as we gather for worship and scatter to weave patterns of community and mission. We believe God is building us together with his people throughout history and around the world, inviting us to join in with his Story...a story of reconciliation, restoration, and transformation.
As we confess Jesus as Lord, we seek to make the Kingdom of God visible in our daily lives. We seek to welcome others, to love God as we love our neighbor across the street and around the world.
